You’re just a few clicks away from getting your session on the calendar! Choose a date and time that works best for you, and submit your request. Once received, I’ll review the details and send over a confirmation and invoice to secure your spot. Your appointment is officially reserved once the deposit is paid, and I’ll be in touch with everything you need to prepare for a fun, relaxed experience.
What Happens Next:
• You’ll receive a confirmation email. This is a confirmation of the request only.
• You’ll receive an email from Smiley Photography with your contract and invoice.
• The signed contract and 50% retainer are both required to hold your date and time.
• Payment plans are available on a case by case basis. Please contact to discuss.
• We’ll finalize the details together.
• Then you just show up and have fun — I’ll handle the rest!

I’ll guide you the entire time so you never feel awkward in front of the camera. Most clients tell me they were nervous beforehand but ended up having a great time — and that’s exactly how I want your session to feel.

I’m not photogenic — what if I look awkward?
You’re not alone — almost everyone says this! You don’t have to know how to pose. I’ll guide you with easy movement and simple prompts so you’re not stuck wondering what to do with your hands. Most of the time you’ll be laughing, talking, or interacting with each other, and that’s when the best photos happen. My job is to make you feel comfortable… the great photos naturally follow.
What if it rains?
We’ll reschedule at no extra cost if weather is unsafe.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Payments: Clients must contact Smiley Photography to make payment for their session or event.
Balance Due: The remaining invoice balance is due on or before the day of the session or event.
Retainers & Payments: The retainer secures your date and is applied toward your total balance.
Client Cancellations: If you choose to cancel your session or event coverage, the retainer is non-refundable.
Short-Notice Cancellations: Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled date may result in forfeiture of any payments already made.
48-Hour Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled date are non-refundable. If you choose to rebook, a $50 rescheduling fee will apply.
Rescheduling: Reschedule requests require at least 48 hours notice and are subject to availability. A $50 rescheduling fee will apply, and the new session date must take place within 30 days of the original date. Requests made with less than 48 hours notice may require a new retainer to secure a new date.
Weather: If weather conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, we will reschedule at no additional cost.
Weddings & Events: Wedding and event retainers are non-refundable; date changes are subject to availability and may require a new contract or updated pricing.
Approved Refunds: Any approved refunds will have a 10% transaction fee deducted.
