Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Payments: Clients must contact Smiley Photography to make payment for their session or event.
Balance Due: The remaining invoice balance is due on or before the day of the session or event.
Retainers & Payments: The retainer secures your date and is applied toward your total balance.
Client Cancellations: If you choose to cancel your session or event coverage, the retainer is non-refundable.
Short-Notice Cancellations: Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled date may result in forfeiture of any payments already made.
48-Hour Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled date are non-refundable. If you choose to rebook, a $50 rescheduling fee will apply.
Rescheduling: Reschedule requests require at least 48 hours notice and are subject to availability. A $50 rescheduling fee will apply, and the new session date must take place within 30 days of the original date. Requests made with less than 48 hours notice may require a new retainer to secure a new date.
Weather: If weather conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, we will reschedule at no additional cost.
Weddings & Events: Wedding and event retainers are non-refundable; date changes are subject to availability and may require a new contract or updated pricing.
Approved Refunds: Any approved refunds will have a 10% transaction fee deducted.
